Kevin or should we say Black Widow (Widow if you're nasty) is a native to New York City. A dancer, aerialist and drag queen.

They began with dance first, later falling into nightlife while studying in school and then during the pandemic picking up aerial and rest is history. For the last 7 years they have been performing on cruise ships as both a dancer and aerialist.

When on land you can find Black Widow performing in various queer locations around the city. Though you have to be quick as the spider is never here for a long time, but instead for a good time. To which they are very excited to be making they're CirqueHaus debut. If you want to keep with adventures follow the on instagram @theblackwidownycIt

Black Widow

Alexey and Emily

Emily and Alexey both began their journeys as dancers before transitioning into the world of circus. As professional aerialists, they have spent years honing their craft, performing on stages both nationally and internationally. Tonight marks a special moment—the debut of their brand-new act and their first time performing together in front of an audience. They are thrilled to share this piece with you and hope you enjoy the show!

Kati Schwartz

Kati is a theater artist whose true passion is in circus arts. Since beginning their aerial journey in 2019, she’s become obsessed with combining theatrical clown work with aerial silks and rope. They've performed in NYC at The Slipper Room, Dixon Place and with Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, as well as Cafe Istanbul in New Orleans and internationally in Cabarete, Dominican Republic.

Bella

Bella Mangretta was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She started dancing at Studio G Dance Center before attending Pittsburgh’s Creative And Performing Arts, grades 6-12. After graduating from CAPA and Studio G’s competitive dance team, she moved on to earn her BFA in dance with a concentration in jazz from Point Park University.

Since then, she’s been working nationally and internationally to share her creativity and passion for dance. During this time she also found the circus community and started falling in love with handstands, partner acro, and learning how to turn her flexibility into strength.

Thank you Warrior Bridge/CirqueHaus for being a huge part of my story <3 @bellamangretta

Amy Tsai

Amy Tsai is a queer, Asian American aerialist. She has performed corde lisse, tissu, and straps at various venues in New York, including the Slipper Room, Brooklyn Art Haus, Streb, and the Muse, as well as in a full-length production called Liquid Light Flight. In addition to working as a full-time creative director, she is part of the work-study staff at Aerial Arts NYC and a movement photographer.

Ingrid

Ingrid Apgar (she/her) is simply happy to be here. Originally from Massachusetts, the bulk of her aerial training was with Susan Voyticky at Circus Warehouse. Current circus endeavors include Parallel Exit's delightful, family-friendly Sunset Circus on March 9th at the Marlene Meyerson JCC, and all other work involves building Broadway shows by day and covering many show tracks by night -- a dream come true.

Brittany and Jake

The first time we climbed the straps together, we felt the shift immediately—two bodies moving as one, yet shaped by different instincts. Brittany came from the world of dance, where movement is storytelling, fluid and expressive. Jake constantly pushes the edges of gravity, strength, and endurance. Through the trust in each other’s foundation and experience, together we pushed to explore the concept of Duality. Suspended in the air, we move as reflections of each other—opposing forces, yet inseparable halves of the same whole. Find them on socials at posas.moves and aerial.x.jake.

They currently perform regularly at The Slipper Room and The Box, and have worked at Company XIV, Duane Park, and House of Yes in NYC. Alisa is an aerial coach and NASM-certified personal trainer.
